I chose these barefoot sandals specifically because of the fact they were crocheted....I knew that would give the loop for around the toe some ability to stretch. My second and third toes on one foot happen to be conjoined, yup I'm serious, but I was determined to wear barefoot sandals! I took a chance on these and I'm happy to report these fit perfectly around both toes, and it doesn't look too weird. Hooray! I wondered if it would feel constricting around the toes, but they are quite comfortable and make me feel and look as though I stepped into a fairytale.The strings are quite long and I was able wrap it a few times above my ankle, you can easily play around with how you want them tied...wrapping around once and tying a larger bow, and tying in either the front or back, definitely several options!It's hard to know how long they will last until I have greater opportunities to wear them, but for the price I'd say you can't go wrong with these, especially if you want them for one specific occasion.
