High quality product with the hardware included to multiple configurations ie with or without disk breaks etc. They are a gloss black with nice matte finish rubber mud flap tips and can be easily adjusted. Would recommend if you are using with disk breaks or intend to get disk breaks use the included hardware to setup proper spacing during initial installation. This can be tricky to get them to rest at the right height and still be in line with the tire but it is doable. Also it is much easier if you attach the side that has more extension where a disk break is or will be before mounting the other side, that way the angle of the bolt to the frame is much easier to get it aligned than if you were to do it the other way.Make sure to use anti seize lubricant on your steel bolts that are going into the aluminum frame of most modern bikes, If you don't a rust may occur when the different metals chemically react with one another. Also remember that if you have a bike made for disk breaks compatibility (whether you have disk breaks yet or not) your fram will be wider and need a bike rack that accommodates this, a normal one it this situation may not or will not fit. Also you may want to mount the front fender vertical bolt/fastener on the rear of the front fork instead of the standard position of having it mounted on the front. Works just fine either way but rear position allows fender to rotate slightly farther down the back side of the front tire instead of covering the front of it as much. I heard this recommendation from others since it gives you a little more coverage guarding the rider from any water/mud spray that might come off the back of the front wheel. These work great with my Trek 7300. May update with pictures at some point. Good luck.
