This bike is a bit heavy but fairly sturdy. The selection of the wheels was a compelling factor for me as ebikes can be pretty hard on spokes. The bike could use some upgrades and a bit of redesign but from a functional standpoint, it serves the purpose. I have recently added a Topeak rear rack for rear suspension bikes as I have been using it for rides to work or to local stores and restaurants. Being able to carry things is useful.The battery bag is a problem I'm working to resolve. If you ride bumps, that battery is shaking around in there. I hope to mount it to the frame somehow.The sellers and support are willing to work through problems you may encounter. I would encourage a buyer to take his time to ensure all of the connections are good. Things happen during shipping. This includes the controller box. You will need to open it to inspect. Proper bicycle tools are recommended but the controller box also requires a long and thin Phillips screw driver to get it open. Once you have ensured all of the connections are tight, ensure the controller and the wires are not going to move around while riding.My friend and I love the option to peddle or use the battery power.We received both of our bikes yesterday after about a week of shipping time, which is reasonable considering it does contain batteries. Both were very well packed and protected and in VERY large boxes!The unpacking was very easy, although the assembly was a bit more challenging. There were a few times where the instructions weren't terrible specific and we had to puzzle things together, but in the end it all made sense. It took about an hour to put together the first back and no more than a half hour for the second one.I would definitely recommend keeping some pictures of the finished product on-hand so you can refer to it just to make sure everything is facing in the right direction.Once they were assembled and inflated, they worked like a charm! The electric motor has a decent kick to it without being overpowered, the pedal action and gear shifting is nice and smooth, and the control module was very easy to manage without being confusing at all.Folding it was extremely easy as well. Just lift up a lever, pull out, and it folds in half easily. You can carry an allen wrench with you to rotate the handlebars as well if you need additional room, but we were able to fold and store both bikes under our staircase with little to no trouble at all, taking up far less space than the two fully assembled bikes would.There is a decent amount of weight to the bikes, probably about 45-50 pounds without the batteries. We're having a hitch installed on our car so that we can carry them around due to the weight, but they certainly aren't unmanageable by any means (and I'm hardly in great shape - hence getting the bikes in the first place!).If you're looking to experience a Class 2 electric bike I would definitely recommend this one. The price was right, the weight limit is very welcoming to those of us who are stockier/heavier, and the riding experience is an absolute joy. Assembly was a bit confusing the first time around but once it's together it's very easy to figure out and use, and can be a great gateway bike to serious bicycling!As a side note: Look into whether your area has any Rides-To-Trails. I highly recommend them!It's only for the road because there is a handlebar under the pedals that constantly hits the ground when going over curbs or high bumps.Pros: The bike is VERY fast when on high mode.Cons: Besides the bar underneath the pedals the instructions aren't very clear as to what the left-handle "derailer" is for.Bike looks very sharp, nice and comfortable ride. Instruction manual is not helping at all. When I put the air in the tire, the tire came off the rim. So then I instantly took out the air and put the tire back on and as of now it’s working fineFor the price, this bike ships with an LED headlamp, fenders, and a nice toolkit.I have lots of people want to hear about the bike, and I explain how nice it rides, the assisted function, and cruising full electric mode.People saw me fold and put in my trunk, and they wanted to talk. I use on real mild trails, and mostly on paved trails. Rides real nice!Would recommend as a great functioning and its a joy to ride, especially on way home, when legs start wearing out.I'll start out by saying I weigh 275lbs and this bike gets me where I need to.
